" Putting Fort Erie's Healthcare First "

As a former member of the Mayor's Hospital Task Force ,I  have continued to worked hard to ensure that Fort Erie does not get shortchanged when it comes to the delivery of health services. Over the past six years I have been an advocate for local healthcare and have worked with the Mayor and former MPP Kim Craitor on many fronts on this issue , including fighting for and receiving a review of the Hospital Improvement Plan. When that review was suspended I fought to get a supervisor put in place so that  a fair and honest assessment of our healthcare could be made and  so a new dialogue with the NHS could begin  with all of Niagara's municipalities , something that was sorely missing in the past. All of these discussions and the hard work of our former MPP has led to the planning of a new hospital for South Niagara ,and two new Urgent Care Centers of which one will be located in Fort Erie .More importantly the Niagara Health Systems has been moved to be more open and transparent with the community it serves and is now in constant discussion with it's leaders. I also advocated for Fort Erie with  the province to bring Bridges Community Health Center to our community  and was a driving force in bring forward the Hospital Services Advisory  as a board of the Town. You can trust me when it comes to Healthcare as I have a record to stand on and I will continue to fight to make sure that seniors and families get healthcare that is constant and meets the needs of all who live here. Healthcare is no longer just a Provincial concern its our concern !!! My Campaign is all about " Putting People First " and guarding you Health Care Services is at the very top of my list!!
